Ability to handle stressful situations and changing priorities

Accurate keyboarding and data entry skills
Computer literate and thorough knowledge in Microsoft Office applications (Hospital Software experience an asset)
Coordinating short stay admissions e.g. blood transfusions
Customer focused and have a track record of positive patient relations
Excellent interpersonal/communication skills
Excellent knowledge of Medical Terminology
Experience coordinating OR admissions
Experience with month end reporting of admission statistics
Experience with OR plus (Meditech)
Experience with Repatriation/One Number
Must be able and willing to work all shifts as required
Professional demeanour and excellent attendance are required
Sort, prepare, review and file various documents
Well organized and demonstrates initiative
