Medical Trainee Opportunities

The AMGH is affiliated with UWO, U of T and Queens and we are very pleased to have medical students/residents doing elective training at our hospital. To arrange for an elective at the AMGH please contact your University’s Placement Coordinator for further information.

Southwestern Ontario Medical Education Network (SWOMEN)

The AMGH is affiliated with the Southwestern Ontario Medical Education Network (SWOMEN) which is a joint collaboration between the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry at UWO, and other affiliated rural and regional hospitals throughout Southwestern Ontario. Funded by the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long Term Care, SWOMEN was created to expose medical students and residents to a wide variety of opportunities for hands-on clinical experiences and to experience life in the communities throughout Southwestern Ontario.
