Visitor Information


In keeping with our commitment to excellence in, patient and family centered care, we have visiting hours in place to ensure patient comfort, safety and well-being.

Please share this information with people who may be visiting you. Please ask your visitors to sanitize their hands with the sanitizer at the entrance to each room before and after they visit.


Staff should not visit patients while they are working, except during visiting hours. Please encourage your visitors to visit only during visiting hours.

Patients are limited to two visitors at a time. Visitors should only visit one patient per day and not visit other patients or areas of the Hospital for infection control purposes.


Monday to Friday:

11:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. for both 1st and 2nd Floors

3:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. for 3rd Floor

Weekends and Holidays:

11:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. for both 1st and 2nd Floors

2:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. for 3rd Floor

Emergency Department, Outpatients and Surgical Day Care:

Only one family member or support person may accompany patients in the Emergency Department or patients having outpatient appointments, treatments or tests.

Restricted Access

The Nursing Units will inform our Patient Registration of any exceptions. Please use the front entrance or the Emergency entrance. The front entrance is open from 6:45a.m. to 8:30p.m. Monday to Friday and from 3:30p.m. to 8:30p.m. on weekends and holidays. The front entrance is locked at all other times. The Emergency entrance is the only entrance open 24 hours a day.

Visitor Guidelines Before you Visit

  • Wash your hands regularly using the Sanitizer at the entrance to each room before and after each patient visit.
  • If you have a cough, fever, runny nose, diarrhea or generally feeling unwell, please DO NOT visit.
  • Requests to visit outside of the regular visiting hours will be granted, on an individual basis, for compassionate reasons. Please check with the nurse.
  • Check with the nurse before providing special treats, which may or may not be permitted.

Do not visit patients if you feel unwell.
